LCT Radio Theater Tryouts

LeRoy Community Theater is looking for anyone who’d like to dip their toes into community theater by way of participating in the group’s upcoming radio theater performances.  

The shows are a great way to become involved, as no memorization is required whatsoever. A willingness to read from a script into a microphone, perhaps adding a little bit of character, is all it takes. 

This year’s performances will be held on Nov. 2-3 at the LeRoy Community Center in partnership with the LeRoy Area Foodshelf, which will receive some of the proceeds.  

Minimal rehearsals will be required, which are typically held on Sunday afternoons leading up to the weekend of the performances.  

“Old Time Radio Theater” has been a fall tradition in LeRoy for many years. The performances feature entirely homemade sound effects transporting the audience to the homegrown entertainment of yesteryear.
