Candidate filing period opens for LeRoy city offices

(LeRoy, Minn.) — Residents interested in serving their community can now file to run for elected office in the City of LeRoy.

The filing period is open for the following positions on the November ballot:

  • Mayor (2-year term)
  • Two City Council seats (4-year terms)

Candidates may file for office at LeRoy City Hall during regular business hours. The filing period closes Tuesday, July 28.

Serving in local government provides residents with the opportunity to help shape the future of the community by making decisions on city services, infrastructure, budgeting and economic development.
