Filing period for City Council candidates July 30-Aug. 13

LeRoy residents interested in filing their candidacy for LeRoy City Council can do so from July 30-Aug. 13. The Council will have three open seats in the Nov. 5 election, including:

  • Mayor, 2-year term (currently held by Ed Koppen)
  • 4-year-term (currently held by Gerald Payne)
  • 4-Year-term (currently held by Brian Thiel)

Affidavits of candidacy must be filed at City Hall, along with a $2 filing fee, between 8 a.m. on July 30 and 5 p.m. on Aug. 13.
