Hwy 56 Reconstruction Project

The Minnesota Department of Transportation plans to reconstruct Highway 56 through LeRoy in 2024. The project will affect Main Street from roughly Bauer Built in the west to Wildwood Grove Assisted Living in the east. The current schedule, provided by the state, shows tree removal to begin in fall 2023, followed by road construction from spring to fall 2024 and landscaping in 2025.
