LeRoy EDA crowns 3 winners in Spring Photo Contest

The LeRoy Economic Development Authority (EDA) has crowned three winners in its Spring Photo Contest on Facebook. After followers cast more than 1,000 votes to pick their favorites from 37 submissions, Sue Speer, Nicki Louis and Amanda Miner emerged as the top three winners.

Speer won first place for her photo of a recent sunset near the Jasper farm on the northwest side of town. She won $30 in LeRoy Bucks.

Lohuis won second place for her photo of the Northern Lights she captured two miles of north of LeRoy on May 10. She won $20 in LeRoy Bucks.

Miner won third place for her photo of a rainbow she captured on May 28 in the Ostrander area. She won $10 in LeRoy Bucks.

All submissions can be viewed in a photo album on the City of LeRoy, MN Facebook page.

The EDA will announced the Summer Photo Contest in late August or early September.
