(LeRoy, MN) — Saturday, Oct. 4 promises to be a busy day in LeRoy. The LeRoy Commercial Club is in final preparations to host the second annual Fall Fest at North Park.
Visitors can shop to their heart’s content during the vendor show at the park from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. or at First Presbyterian Church, where the Fall Bazaar will take place from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. A Gift to Gab, Ed’s Floral & Gifts and Emporium 56 will also run special sales all day. Food trucks and treats will also be available at North Park from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The popular “Pie in the Face” fundraiser will kick off at 11 a.m., where visitors can toss pies at community members for $3 a throw or $10 for a direct hit.
Kids will find plenty of entertainment from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., including pumpkin painting, diving for coins in a corn pit, tic tac toe, pumpkin bowling and duck racing. Face painting will also be available from noon to 3 p.m.
The fall parade is also coming back with decorated golf carts, UTVs and ATVs invited to line up along the west side of the park starting at 4 p.m. before winding through town at 4:30 p.m.
Trunk or Treat
Rounding out the night will be a Trunk or Treat event from 6-8 p.m., which was widely popular last year. More than 20 families, businesses, organizations and individuals have already registered to participate this year, and there is room for more. Anyone interested in hosting a trunk can contact Commercial Club member at katerohrer17@gmail.com. Participants can set up their trunks from 5-6 p.m.
The Commercial Club is also bringing back live DJ music on the tennis court, hosted by Karavan Entertainment from 6-8 p.m.

The Commercial Club is a group of business owners, organizations and individuals who meet once a month to discuss and plan events and fundraisers for the betterment of the community. Anyone is welcome to join at any time. Right now, the club focuses on fundraising for LeRoy’s 150th anniversary celebrations next year.
