Wildwood Grove Assisted Living & Memory Care in LeRoy has been awarded a 5-star Resident Quality of Life rating by the Minnesota Department of Human Services and the Minnesota Board on Aging. Wildwood is the only assisted living facility in Mower, Fillmore and Houston counties to achieve the top ranking.
The annual ranking is based on state surveys conducted earlier this year. The surveys measured resident satisfaction in key areas such as staff, environment, activities, and safety. Wildwood Grove ranked consistently higher than the state average in all categories, earning scores of 86% or higher. By comparison, the state average for Resident Quality of Life is three stars.
“We are very honored to have earned the highest possible rating,” says Diane Whalen, Wildwood Grove’s administrator. “This achievement is a testament to our staff who work tirelessly to provide a compassionate, safe, and loving environment for our residents. I am extremely proud of our entire team.”
The Assisted Living Report Card is modeled after the Nursing Home Report Card and helps Minnesotans compare facilities based on surveys and inspections. Around 63,000 Minnesotans live in over 2,200 licensed assisted living facilities statewide.
